OFFERING INDIVIDUAL MENTOR ACCREDITED
TITLE AT THE EMCC FOUNDATION LEVEL
3-10-17-24-31 October 2025 In person and Live Online

“Leader as a Mentor” is a leadership development program based on an EMCC Global accredited mentoring training program enhanced with the leadership concepts covered in “The Contemporary Leader: The Value of Inclusion in Successful Leadership”.

Contemporary Leadership approach requires leaders to draw strength and unity from diversity, bring individuals and organizations together around common goals, enhance decision-making with mental clarity, ask functional and meaningful questions instead of always providing answers, actively listen, appeal to emotions, and add meaning to both the organization and the lives of the individuals they influence.

The most effective way to achieve this is through transformational mentoring competencies. In this program, participants will be equipped with fundamental mentoring principles, competencies, and methods to internalize these approaches through practical applications in their leadership development.

IN DEVELOPMENTAL MENTORING, THERE IS NO ADVISING OR INSTRUCTING. IT’S A NON-JUDGEMENTAL DIALOGUE WITH TRUST, RESPECT, AND MUTUAL LEARNING BASED ON SHARING CONTEXTUAL WISDOM. UNFORTUNATELY, IF A MENTOR GETS ATTACHED TO HIS HIS ADVISE, IT DOES NOT SERVE US AT ALL IN TERMS OF MENTEE DEVELOPMENT. ISN'T IT THE SAME IN COMMUNICATION WITH OUR CHILDREN IN THEIR TEENAGE YEARS? NON-CONSEILLANT MENTORSHIP SKILLS COME TO OUR RESCUE.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

– Those who want to take the EMCC Foundation Level Mentorship Program,
– Those aiming to gain an understanding of mentoring practices and acquire basic mentoring skills,
– Those willing to work by establishing mentorship dialogues that support and inspire skill/performance development with others voluntarily,
– Those interested in using a mentoring approach within their field/role and want to clearly understand how the mentor role intertwines with the professional role.

WHAT DOCUMENTS AND TITLES WILL BE RECEIVED AT THE END OF THE PROGRAM?

At the end of the EMCC Foundation Level Coaching and Mentoring Program, each participant who completes the assignments and trainings will receive an “EMCC Accredited Training Program (EQA: European Quality Awards) Participation Certificate.”

In addition, participants who apply by fulfilling additional requirements (in terms of completing the reflective practice application forms and also a total of minimum 50 mentoring hours – including prior experience – with a minimum number 5 different mentees) will also obtain the EMCC Foundation Level Individual Coach/Mentor Title (EIA: EMCC Global Individual Accreditation).

Participants applying for the title will also have the opportunity to add these certificates to their profiles as ‘digital badges’ on LinkedIn.

In today’s world, professional titles and program participation certificates with international validity are preferred by institutions and will be a valuable asset in your career journey in this context.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The coaching industry has now matured to the extent that buyers of coaching services, both individuals and organizations, require ways to compare and differentiate between coaches. They wish to know that a coach is likely to be effective, is supported by a Professional Membership Body and that the service provided will be fit for purpose – before investing. Accreditation demonstrates that coaches have benchmarked themselves against high professional standards, and provides reassurance to buyers of coaching regarding the level of experience and capability of coaches.

An evidence based accreditation process requires a coach to take considerable time and care to meet the criteria, demonstrating a commitment to client care and professional development. Although accreditation cannot eliminate bad practice completely, in conjunction with an effective Global Code of Ethics for Coaches & Mentors.it does encourage standards of excellence.
